Ingredients
2 bananas
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 tablespoons water
Kosher salt
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Combine 4 tablespoons of water with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (4 to 1 ratio, if scaling) in a small bowl.
Step 3
Peel the bananas and slice them into 1/8 inch thick coins. Arrange the banana coins on the baking sheet. Brush with the lemon juice and water mixture. Sprinkle with kosher salt.
Step 4
Place the baking sheet of banana coins in the preheated oven. Bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours or until they are crispy. Make sure to flip the banana pieces halfway through, around 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 5
Remove the banana chips from the oven and allow them to cool. Enjoy!
