  • Any large fruit


*Note: this recipe can be made with small fruit as well -- just skip the slicing :)

Preparation

Step 1


Thinly slice the fruit, making sure to keep as uniform height as possible.


Step 2


Line a tray with a non-stick baking sheet. Arrange the slices in a single layer on the tray.


Step 3


Preheat the oven to 170°F.


Step 4


Place the tray onto the oven rack with the oven door slightly open. Make sure to stir the fruit every 30 minutes.


Step 5


After 4 to 8 hours, depending on the size and thickness of the fruit slices, take the trays out of the oven and let them sit overnight (12 hours).
