Ingredients
1 ½ cups flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 ¼ cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Sift the ingredients.
Step 2
Pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
Step 3
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat.
Step 4
To make a pancake, pour or scoop about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan. When the pancake batter begins to bubble, flip the pancake. Once both sides are browned, take the pancake out of the pan.
Step 5
Serve hot and enjoy!
