Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 (14 ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 large eggs (apple sauce!)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1(9 inch) unbaked pie crust (gluten free, dairy free nut free etc)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Step 2
Place the pumpkin puree, condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk the ingredients until smooth.
Step 3
Pour the combined ingredients into the pie crust.
Step 4
Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
Step 5
After 15 minutes of baking, reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking until a knife inserted 1 inch from the crust comes out clean -- about 35 to 40 minutes.
Step 6
Take the pie out of the oven. Let it cool before serving. Enjoy!
